Tony Sondhi

Tony Sondhi is President of A.C. Sondhi & Associates. He is currently a member of the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF) of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). He is also a member of the Investor Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), the Corporate Disclosure Policy Council of the CFA Institute. He has served as a member of the 2008 Expert Advisory Panel on Fair Value of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). He has been a member of the Global Financial Reporting Advocacy Committee of the CFA Institute, the Accounting Standards Executive Committee (AcSEC) of the AICPA and the Planning Subcommittee of the AcSEC, the Financial Accounting Policy Committee of the CFA Institute, the FASB Task Force on Accounting for Impairments of Long-lived Assets, and the Statement of Cash Flows Steering Committee of the International Accounting Standards Committee. Tony was also an advisor to the FASB on its project comparing U.S. and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Tony serves on the Board of Directors of an investment advisory services firm. His consulting activities include revenue recognition practices in the software and contracting industries, revenue arrangements with multiple deliverables, consolidation policy issues related to variable interest entities, financial reporting requirements for foreign operations, securitizations and transfers of financial assets, credit analysis, and the analysis of company-wide financial reporting decisions.

Jennifer Anderson

Jennifer is the Americas Controller at Red Hat and project sponsor for ASC 606 adoption and Aptitude RevStream implementation. Jennifer joined Red Hat after six years as the VP Finance & Corporate Controller at PDF Solutions in San Jose, CA where she was responsible for their Netsuite implementation. Prior to PDF, Jennifer was at Netflix whereby she managed the DVD and Streaming accounting team as the Sr. Manager of Content Accounting. She started her career in audit with PwC in San Jose.

Prior to relocating to Raleigh to join Red Hat in 2016, Jennifer spent 16 years in the Silicon Valley. She was born in Alaska and grew up on a vineyard in California’s Central Valley. She received her B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University. Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband, 6-year-old daughter, and their geriatric golden retriever.

Kai Wong

Kai is the VP of Product Strategy for Aptitude RevStream, the leading software solution for revenue recognition lifecycle management. His professional history includes 20+ years of sales and finance experience at NetSuite, Oracle, Hyperion, Bechtel Enterprises, two international commercial banks, and several accounting firms. Kai was a CPA and is a graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA in Finance and Economics.

Bill Grimes

Bill is currently leading Ciena’s financial systems implementation and integrations efforts which includes RevStream and ASC 606. As a Sr. Director of Accounting at Ciena, Bill has been able to utilize his years of accounting experience to coordinate and represent accounting requirements during system implementations. Bill joined Ciena in 1995 after working five years in the food manufacturing environment. Prior to his current role, Bill was accountable for Ciena’s SEC Reporting, International Accounting, General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Stock Option Administration. As part of this role Bill saw the company grow from a private startup to a leading network strategy and technology company, with over $2.8 billion in revenue.

Bill was born, raised and currently living in Maryland with his wife and three children. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland School of Business. Outside of work Bill enjoys all sports, but specifically golfing and fishing.

Sirisha Dasu

Sirisha Dasu leads the Finance Business Transformation group and is based out of Palo Alto, California. She has 30 years of experience in the high tech field working in core finance and finance systems areas. Her area of expertise is in large scale ERP implementations with a view to process design and optimization. She has just led the transformation journey to implement RevStream 5X, leveraging the system to recast 2 years of revenue transactions.

Sirisha has an MBA in Finance and has passed the CPA exam. She is an avid reader and is very interested in learning new systems and processes. She is focused on promoting women’s career development by mentoring and guiding members in direct and extended organizations.
